How to Navigate Your Way Around Brunch on Chestnut

First of all, I want to thank you for being here and reading this. If you’ve been following for awhile or are new, it means the world that you’ve taken the time to scroll through my blog. I am always thriving to deliver the best content and utilize my site and channels in different ways, so I thought I would cover each of my favorites, so you can follow along as you’d like.

My blog is king of my content world, so if you are an avid follower, visiting my site weekly will keep you up to speed on my inspirations. I post around 3-6 times a week and cover everything from style, beauty, travel, entertaining, and try and open up here and there with more personal posts (my Notes series). I am always open to hearing ideas if you have any posts you’d like to see (in fact, I love that –, and if you would like to be notified weekly on posts you can sign up for my newsletter.

Navigating through my pages are pretty straightforward but a few things you should know. I’m always updating my Guides (which include city guides all over the US/travel stories from my trips/weekend recaps trips to wine country, Carmel, HMB, etc./and places to go, see, sleep, and do while traveling). I also update my Index frequently which highlights some of my favorite and most popular posts and topics on the blog. Lastly, my Shop page is a place where you can find all of my current wish list items, updated daily!

Instagram is at the forefront of social media for me. I love taking photos and sharing what’s inspiring me, post updates, behind the scenes, and more.  As time passes, my photography skills continue to grow, so I am always excited to share the progress with you here! My favorite platform to share on a daily basis, so come follow along!

Back in the day, I spent a lot of time on Pinterest. Pre-Instagram days, the platform played a huge role in my inspiration seeking and it still does today. I recently decided to update Pinterest and spend more time on it so be sure to follow on there, too. You can think of it as a live inspiration/mood board where you will find what I’m currently gravitating towards. If you’re interested in what I am loving right now, click on the PINS button to see the latest. My favorite boards are featured at the top of my profile and don’t forget On My List. It’s a dangerous scroll, but I curate only the latest and greatest of the web weekly.

I have been using Twitter a bit more to update you on noteworthy finds, sales that pop up, and blog posts. Quick news, as it’s intended to be used. I also would love to start thinking of this more as a conversation platform. If you have any questions you want to know quickly versus sending an email, shoot it over in a tweet. I have one reader who does this quite often and it makes my day!

Lastly, if you are on BlogLovin’ this is a great alternative to the newsletter as it updates you with my posts daily.

One thing I’ve learned since I decided to focus on my blog full-time is there are so many ways to bring inspiration to the table and I want to make sure that I’m passionate about all of the work I spend time on. These platforms are where you’ll be seeing the most updated quality content.

If you ever have any suggestions, feedback, or questions, feel free to shoot me an email, my door is always open.

Thank you again so much for following along!

You are too cute ? I think Tumblr may be coming back around too!! Mines

      • Love it!

Thanks, Laur. 🙂 I think it’s coming back too – it’s one platform that stays true to it’s core mission, and I can’t tell you how excited I get when I discover a new account that inspires me. It’s great. Hope you had a nice Monday!

    • Yay to Tumblr! It’s such a great source of visual inspiration – I get way too easily distracted clicking away on Pinterest, so when I’m on the hunt for photoshoot inspo, I always turn to Tumblr. I agree with you that it’s important to focus on the social media that we truly enjoy – I’ve even been debating quitting Facebook altogether for a while.
Your Tumblr is a lovely and inspiring place 🙂
