My Favorite Rainboots

This purchase was quick and on the spot (bravo on the marketing, Joie!), and several months back when it was nowhere close to being cold. They’ve been sitting up in my closet for a couple of months now, patiently waiting to be worn. I was so excited for the rain this weekend. Not only because I’ve been a little under the weather and was happy to live in PJs and cozy up on the couch, but also because I’ve been dying to throw these on (side note – I clearly have bad luck with timing as these beauties just arrived… scotch guarded and ready). By far, the chicest rain attire piece I own and not to mention, so helpful with being a puppy mom. I can slip them on for morning walks to the beach when we need to get some of our energy out…

A quick update on Scout. Well, he’s potty trained! Thank the lord. Definitely does not know his size (starting to creep up on my height, I def have lost control when he’s in crazy puppy mode… how do they grow so fast!!?), but he has been such a joy! It’s true what they say; no matter what kind of day you’re having, a dog will always lift your spirits. Not a day has gone by where I don’t stare at him and feel so lucky. I’ve never had a pet of my own, it’s such a wonderful feeling to see the love in their eyes, and for all the cuddles that come with having a sweet dood. One thing I did not think about pre-puppy parenthood was all the beard drips. Haha. Every time he drinks water, or we go outside in the rain, he just drips… a l l  o v e r. It’s hilarious.

These pretty leaves have me excited for a festive week– I’m so looking forward to family time. And as always, the food! What are your plans for the week? Heading somewhere or staying local? We fly to AZ on Wednesday, so I will be cramming as much work as possible into the next couple of days before we take off. Be sure to come back later this week to check on gift guides, but most importantly Black Friday, Small Biz Saturday and Cyber Monday sales, coming in hot (and the only real reason to step away from the family for a few…). I hope you have a wonderful holiday! xx
