On Friday my friend Hilary and I drove up to Sonoma for the afternoon. So much better than a quick catch up over lunch. If only all weekends could start this way…
We packed up the car and the three of us (Scout in tow) drove to Larson Family Winery for a healthy picnic and wine tasting. I had never been before– it is such a pretty property! Beautiful and open, plenty of seating, pups running around, bocce ball, and just an overall cheery vibe. And most importantly, the wine was great too! We spent a couple of hours catching up and watching Scout make new friends. It was so enjoyable, definitely a great pet-friendly, kid-friendly winery if you’re ever looking. I left with the 2014 Millerick Road Pinot Noir – but it didn’t make it through the weekend. 🙂
I had gone to Madewell the day before so was armed with new summer knit tops to wear, perfect for a seventy-degree afternoon. I’ve noticed that I’m gravitating towards unique knit silhouettes like this. Perfect for living in the city, too with our unpredictable “summer” weather. I love the feeling of a new outfit, especially if you have a day like this planned. Safe to say this outfit was tested and approved.
I hope you had a great weekend! x
