Summertime makes beauty regimens a little more fun. My skin does not cooperate as well in the fall/winter, so I mainly focus on moisturizing most of the year. Warmer temps make it easier for me to achieve that no-makeup makeup look and dewy sunkissed complexion that we all strive for because my skin loves the warm breezy air. I also think as I age, the more and more I appreciate products! I always am so grateful when someone introduces me to something I love, so thought I would let you in on the products I believe in/am currently using.
I’m a sweet-but-musky kind of girl when selecting lotions, candles, and fragrances. It’s what I reach for all year long, but summer is the most suited time to rock them, so I try my best to do it well! Since I’ve always gravitated towards similar scents, I feel like I’ve cultivated quite the collection. There’s nothing I love more than the smell of Jo Malone’s Peony & Suede Blush, and their new Velvet Rose & Oud body cream is to die for. Also still spritzing the coconut hair mist after curling beachy waves. All my top picks for summer below… I wish you could smell them all now – so damn good.

Chloé Eau de Parfum | Fresh Grapefruit Body Lotion | Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud Body Créme | Archipelago Lanai Candle
Because you may ask (I wasn’t not joking about my random pineapple obsession) – the candlestick is from Anthropologie and matchsticks/holder (with a match striker at the bottom!) are from Hudson Grace. Also, my makeup bag seems to be sold out, but I got it from World Market – a few similar options here.
I used to have the smallest makeup bag and felt minimal was the way to go… I still try and only grab a few things on the go or on the road, but am pretty stoked about the makeup finds I’ve collected this past year. I don’t wear a ton regularly, but meeting your makeup match is fun! We’ve all had our fair share of trial and error and it’s an endless process finding those perfectly suited products that make a difference in our beauty routine. I’m all about neutrals, peaches, and bronze tones for face, eyes, lips – sunkissed always is my go-to. Currently loving these…

Saved the best for last. To me, this routine is the most important. I shared a handful of products I love in this post recently but wanted to update you because I’m still using some of them, and have added a few more to the regimen. First of all, I am completely converted/dying over La Mer. Everything I’ve tried is fantastic, and I’m truly speechless over their newest product, Blue Heart Moisturizing Cream. My goodness does this stuff do wonders to my skin. I’ve been using it in the evenings before bed and I wake up with an even, hyrated, and glowing complexion. Had to highlight this one, but everything above is highly rated by moi.
