3 Healthy Smoothies You Must Try

I have been making these 3 smoothies on rotation and they have become a prominent (and loved) part of my morning routine and diet, so had to make a note. They are so healthy, energizing, nourishing, and downright delicious. The first two have a lot of the same ingredients, which makes it easy. I created the second one based off of how much I liked the first, just with a little twist. The last one noted is my newest fave thanks to G. Paltrow. I hope you enjoy! x

Glowing Green

My girlfriend introduced me to this smoothie she found, and it’s the best. I have remixed it a little bit, but still the same idea. This one is so fresh tasting (seriously love the magic of mint) and it totally makes your skin glow. You’ll feel like you’re at the spa with every sip. So many good things packed into a cup, it’s the perfect breakfast to start your day!

1 scoop of protein powder (I use this collagen fuel coconut & vanilla protein mix)
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1 big handful of spinach
1 big handful of mint (I like to use a lot because it really makes this smoothie!)
1/5 cucumber (I cut in little inch pieces, and leave the skin on)
juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp of coconut oil
2-3 cups of almond milk
5 ice cubes

Mint Chocolate Chip

Literally tastes like a mint chocolate chip ice cream treat… you can thank me later 🙂

1 scoop of protein powder
1 tbsp of chia seeds
2 tbsp of cacao nibs
1 handful of spinach
1 handful of dino kale
1 big handful of mint (same as last)
1 banana
juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp of coconut oil or coconut flakes
2-3 cups of almond milk
5 ice cubes

Blueberry Almond

Okay, I did not know what to expect here honestly. But I was excited to dive into Gwyneth’s new cookbook and this was the first page that flipped open and I was intrigued. I AM OBSESSED. It’s fantastic. She says she likes to drink this after workouts because the blueberries are great antioxidants and the almond butter delivers the protein. I get so excited about learning new things in the kitchen like– cauliflower is essentially made up of water and pretty bland so if you need a filler in a smoothie, it’s a good choice. The almond butter and blueberries are strong in this smoothie. It’s so unique and addicting!

1 scoop of protein powder
1 cup of wild blueberries (frozen or fresh)
1 cup frozen cauliflower
3 cups almond milk (Gwyneth says 1, but she must have a v expensive blender haha)
juice of 1 lime
1 pitted date, finely chopped
2 ice cubes
