Happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend–what did you get up to? It’s finally fall, and I couldn’t be happier with the changes going on. On Friday, we headed over to the last Off the Grid of the year in Fort Mason for dinner and then picked up a bottle of wine to accompany us in building a new king boxspring (finally upgrading!), it doesn’t sound like a very enthralling project, but this past week I’ve completely de-cluttered our place and have tossed things we don’t need and it feels so good. Saturday was much better, though–we drove up to Healdsburg and did some wine tasting, wandering, and ended the day at a friend’s for takeout and a movie.
Back to the theme of this post–I’m so excited about a few shoots coming up to bring fall style to the forefront–looking forward to posting those soon, but wanted to share a trend I’ve noticed I can’t resist lately. I go through phases with pieces in my closet that inspire my everyday “getting dressed” routine, and right now my steadfast favorite is a pair of vintage-inspired ankle jeans with effortless slingback heels (just ordered these!). Pair the two with a big chunky sweater and your favorite suede or leather bag, and you’re ready to go. I’d like to write something pithy here but to be honest, I think this photo does all the talking! Instead, I will just hand over the gems I’ve found, and wish you happy fall shopping. Have a lovely Monday!
