Dress season is upon us…

I have been scouring the webs for many events coming up, our wedding, and the newest exciting box to check off… our honeymoon! I feel like I only have eyes for dresses these days and so I wanted to share my recent findings!

Below are the styles I always gravitate towards that I find to be super flattering and effortless all spring and summer long…

1

Smocked

I LOVE smocked dresses. They are some of the most flattering styles I’ve met. Do you remember the plaid Ganni dress that I never took off last year? Well, you’ll be seeing more of that one for sure, but I do want to find a couple of others I love equally as much for the sake of keeping things interesting over here!

2

Subtle Ruffles

I don’t like to look too frilly, but a subtle ruffle always makes me happy. I love when small straps have a ruffle, in particular, but also think they can be so flattering and accentuate your figure as well.

3

Light and Linen

Summer staples. Those pieces that are the easiest to slip into from beach to dinner. Light, breezy, and simple.

4

Flirty Prints

Fun prints make getting ready and looking put together such a cinch. A leopard dress, messy waves, and simple sandals… boom. A floral dress with flip flops, hair in a low bun and hat. Check.

5

Wraps, Buttons, Jumpsuits

The pieces with a little something extra. A wrap to flatter the waist, big tortoise buttons that draw you in, or a fem cargo piece to add a little masculine touch.
