Immaculate Complexion

This post was in collaboration with BlueMercury
to help spread the word about their complexion event.

I am so excited to tell you about this complexion event going on at BlueMercury through February 24th. My girlfriend was in town from LA last weekend, so we headed to the Chestnut Street location in the early afternoon to check it out before our lunch date. As a huge fan of BlueMercury and their selection, I became an even bigger fan after my visit last week to the event. I highly recommend making an appointment while you can or popping by (walk-ins are welcome, too), because it was so enjoyable and helpful!

First of all, I want to thank those of you who recommended Chantecaille tinted moisturizer to me! I had actually never heard of this brand and when I walked into my appointment, it was the first beauty stand I saw. Eden was the beauty consultant who helped me that day (she was so sweet and introduced me to a few new favorite products) and so she made sure to include that in our game plan.

The complexion event is essentially for those who want to come in and find amazing products for your specific needs in both skincare and makeup. I love how personalized it felt and how much she knew about every single product she put on my skin. I learned a lot and ended up walking out with such good stuff. I thought I would run through the products in case you’re interested in trying them if you end up going to the event!

M-61 Hydraboost Concentrate Eye Cream

A little bit goes a long way! I am obsessed with this stuff now… it’s light and fluffy and rejuvenates my under eyes.

M-61 Hydraboost Facial Moisturizer

Same goes for this next step. It’s super light and fluffy and goes on, dries quickly, and doesn’t leave a bit of an oily look.

Lune + Aster Realglow Primer

So, I am not usually one to wear primer, but consider me hooked after learning about this one. With a little bit alone on my skin, the coverage, evening, and smoothing make me think it’ll be all I wear come summer. Its main ingredients are vitamin E, licorice and apple seed extract.

Chantecaille Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15

You guys were so right, this stuff is amazing. My appointment was at 11 am and Eden told me that she had sold 7 already that morning, so apparently, it’s a hot commodity. It goes on so smooth and gives me a dewy glow. The color that best aligned with my skin tone was “Vanilla”.

Laura Mercier Mineral Illumination Powder

I had been needing a new powder and this one was amazing!

Bobbi Brown Bronzer in “Golden Light”

Since my skin has a little bit of a pink undertone, I go for bronzers that have a more tan/orange undertone. I loved this one!
