When I recently came across this home tour, I drooled with eyes widened as I continued to scroll through every room. How good is this! I wouldn’t change a thing if she so generously house-swapped me permanently. Jenni Kayne – there’s no doubt you’ve got fantastic taste based off of your pretty label, but this house? You’ve outdone yourself. The California-style approach, neutrals paired with eclectic pops, textures, personality, and that black, decadent den. This is the dream. (Her second home in Tahoe isn’t too shabby either…)
Where’s a few million dollars when you need it! I’m ready to hand in my bar cart, take on a mortgage and recreate this perfect built-in bar area. So in love with this whole look and I’m hoping it will help convince Matt to get on board with my love for black paint! I painted an accent wall several years ago in an old apartment (when I first got my light gray headboard) and it looked so good. I have been craving to bring that back – YUM.
I’m one to gravitate more towards warm and cozy rooms over very open and modern vibes – but this is the two married perfectly together, a combination I could definitely stand behind. I’m all about woven accent chairs, piles of coffee table books, bright and airy tones, and the natural light in this room is ideal.
She’s convinced me to de-clutter a bit and focus on simplicity. I want to start slowly saving to invest in meaningful pieces. I love the clean and effortless way she’s styled every inch of her home. My goodness, this home tour is inspiring! Who is your interior design spirit animal?
