Notes on Self-Love

I believe in a thing called { self } love.

It took me 30 years to truly learn and understand the importance of self-love and acceptance. Letting go of unnecessary things, accepting my flaws, forgiving my mistakes, and treating myself with extra TLC. I feel like I understand my sense of self more than ever before since shifting my mindset last year. I’m continuing to practice the art of turning the inner voice off and living in and experiencing the present. Doing so has made me feel more strong, confident, content, and happier!

To me, self-love should be a top priority every day. It’s about nurturing your mind and body. Surrounding yourself with good people and things that inspire and lift you up.

A handful of reminders/love notes for you on Valentine’s Day… xo

“I now see how owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.”

“The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours – it is an amazing journey – and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.”
