Picnic at Crissy Beach

This week a couple of girlfriends’ and I decided to spend the afternoon at Crissy Beach. One of my friends is a teacher here in the city and is on spring break, so we thought– why not get in on the SB celebrating? I never think to pack up a picnic and head over to the water, even being so close, but it was a perfect change of scenery to break up the day. Although slightly windy, the weather was beautiful. Blue skies, sailboats floating along, and a little sun on my shoulders.

I live for days like this with light layers, coconut SPF, and some indulgences to share with good friends (ps. beach picnics = sandy cheese… didn’t think about that one, but hey! Was still pretty satisfying!)

I teamed up with my friends at LOFT to share a few spring staple pieces for upcoming fun outdoor activities. I love their top and dress selection right now, and everything is currently 40% off. This week, I wore a new breezy navy top with pretty button details up the sleeve and a peplum seam at the bottom. It was perfectly light (and on theme!) for our beach catch up…

I also love these white cropped jeans– they are beyond comfortable and stay true to form from day to night. I live for a good stretch denim that fits and flatters perfectly– these are one of those noteworthy pieces. I’m all about quality and comfort, especially over the warmer months, as I usually wear things on repeat when I love them.

We had the best time soaking up some rays with a pretty stunning backdrop. I swear, every time I see this view I think to myself how lucky I feel to live here. That bridge is just such a beauty!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, enjoy the sunshine. xx

Thank you, LOFT for collaborating on this post.
