Travel Notes: Treasure Island Flea Market

  /
2 February

Oh my gosh, how the Treasure Island Flea Market has changed in my eyes! I went several years back when it was held in a warehouse and was so unimpressed. My two friends and I have been wanting to go flea market shopping together for a while, so decided to give it another shot since it’s so close. We planned a day and experienced one of the best flea market days we’ve ever had! Leave it to low expectations to really throw you for a loop. You must make a trip if you haven’t been- it’s every last weekend of the month.

It was a seriously beautiful day, and the abundance of gems was endless. We didn’t leave empty-handed, to say the least! I found the most *perfect vintage rug for my kitchen, which I have been keeping an eye out for months. Such a great deal on it, too… still giddy thinking about it. We discovered this little nomadic retailer called Maude, which had the best art prints, leather goods, and beauty products ever. Seriously spent 5 minutes there just taking photos, so charming. We also really enjoyed starting our day off with food trucks and coffee to give us some fuel before we browsed. More flea market weekend for me, please…
