Notes from the Weekend

Have you ever been to a cooking class? I was a first timer last week, and I LOVED it. We celebrated our work holiday party at this cute little flat in Bernal Heights, hosted by a chef (Douglas) who works for a company called Cozy Meal. The chefs host you over to their home or rented space, and you spend the afternoon prepping food, learning a thing or two about recipes and ingredients, while you sip wine. I loved it because it felt like a fun family gathering verses the typical cooking class environment. Cozy Meal is truly the perfect way of putting it. Learning how to make a few french dishes was a great way of kicking off the weekend. I will share the recipe I learned soon- so easy and delicious.

It was also nice to visit Bernal Heights. I don’t ever visit that cute hood, but as you can see in the photo above, it’s as quaint as can be. Very quintessential San Francisco in that area. I was in cooking/entertaining mode all weekend so that’s where most of my Instagram inspiration as of lately has rooted from. 🙂 Any great dishes you recommend I should try while I’m in the spirit? We’re actually having a cook-off while in Colorado with our friends over New Year, so would love some great recipe ideas!

I hope you’re enjoying your week so far xx
